Berkshire Interfaith Organizing (BIO) — Issues Assembly

Representatives from 17 Berkshire faith communities will gather this Thursday to learn more about Berkshire Interfaith Organizing’s ongoing work, hear from each congregation, inspire and challenge one another, and identify shared issues of concern. Taking what we heard from our Listening Session discussion last Sunday, a number of us from South Church will share concerns that are vital to members of our congregation. At the end of the evening choices will be made as to which concerns from our congregations will be the focal points for BIO’s work this coming year. At a time when many are struggling in Pittsfield and the County this is an opportunity to make a difference to improve life for us all.
