Weekly Gathering for Worship
Sundays at 10am, Church Santuary
All are welcome to join our Sunday morning worship service at 10am in the church sanctuary. (Note that January/February services are held in the church parlor to save fuel. Many people enjoy the fellowship of this more intimate worship space.)
Please join us for an informal, traditional service of readings, prayers, congregational singing, instrumental music, a children’s message, and thoughts shared by our pastor or guest preachers. Our bright New England sanctuary has a very spiritual feel with the light streaming in the large, curved windows.
Enter by the front door or one of the doors off the parking lot. Wheelchair access is through the back parking lot door. Signs will direct you to an elevator to take you to the Sanctuary.
Our Children & Youth meet during Sunday worship.
Please also join us for the Coffee Hour that immediately follows in the parlor.
Carol sing will begin at 7pm. followed by our candlelighting service at 7:30pm. Assisted by Celtic harp and trumpet, the Chancel Choir and Tom Damrosch will lead us in a joyous service of music and carols. We will light the Advent wreath and the Christ Candle. There will be readings from Isaiah and the Gospel of Luke. Rev. Joel will share a Christmas meditation, “Making Room for Love.” Finally we will shine light into a dark world as our candles our lit and we sing “Silent Night.”
