Refugee Resettlement Information Session
Monday at 6 p.m. at the Berkshire Athenaeum
Pittsfield is gearing up to become a home for up to fifty refugees from the tragedy taking place in Syria. Jewish Family Services with the support of the Pittsfield Area Council of Congregations (PACC) is hosting an information session Monday evening at 6 p.m. at the Berkshire Athenaeum to present the project, answer questions, and ask for support of local congregations in surrounding individual families with care and support. This is an important moment when our community could make a real difference in our violent world. Come and learn how this would work.
